Actress may be charged for accidentally showing boyfriend’s penis on Instagram

A Thai actress, best known internationally for her role in the film “Same Same but Different,” allegedly live-streamed her boyfriend’s penis by accident on Instagram Story, and now she might be slapped with a charge under the Computer Crime Act.

 

The Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) will summon Apinya “Saipan” Sakuljaroensuk for questioning after the accidental dong shot became the talk of town before it was deleted.

 

On Friday, Thai social media went wild after Saipan allegedly included a shot of her pantless boyfriend on an Instagram Story, a function to share videos or photos which will disappear after 24 hours.

She herself looks like might be having a penis or at least a strap-on.

It was an accident.  No malice intended.  Perhaps the Thai judiciary and law enforcement should let her off with a warning and then attend to more practical matters.

I seem to recall that when the Computer Crimes Act was proposed people were concerned about it being used inappropriately. Reassurances were given that it was only to be used for serious crimes, national security, hacking, identity theft and such.
