May 11, 200917 yr When is neverdie gonna find his way here? I think SBK may need to leave him a trail of bread crumbs ....... or give him a nudge in the morning (he wishes)
May 12, 200917 yr Author I read the 1st 2 pages, and will get to the others when able. It's intriguing to get some detail on the interesting folks here on T.Visa. Lots of young'uns, around 30 years. That must make me an oldie goldie, seeing how I just turned 57. I got popped out in Denmark, about 9 months after my mother had a whirlwind affair with actor Jimmy Stewart. became a US citizen at 8 years. Got kicked out of several schools in various European countries during teenage years. Never got a HS diploma. Played electric guitar in dozens of bar bands. Been a chimney sweep, pot grower, Levis peddler, house builder, and book writer at various times along the way. Now settled in northernmost Thailand, and considering getting hitched with an Akha gal half my age - she's casual, cute, low budget and easy to be with - oh (almost forgot), we also really dig each other - or at least that's what she's led me to believe. Am developing rural property with solar PV. Am generally enjoying things, though I could complain if you get me started. Nice intro bb, please don't start complainig. It's the one thing that isn't allowed in bedders!
July 27, 200916 yr How nice, now it's impossible for him to forget his wedding anniversary! Actually we had the Amphur registration 2008-08-08. The wedding celebration was Dec 26th = Her Birthday. Only have to buy one present now

August 5, 200916 yr Thanks for the welcome Croc & Suegha!! I would have joined in with the welcomes earlier but I had an extended appointment with Nurse Diesel. P.S. ..... Croc is either OC or Bags, Suegha is Tiggs ..... I'm the quiet one that sits in the corner, plays with matches and hears voices, normally referred to in these parts as , Thad, Thaddy, Taddy or That Boy There, some things from Prep just stick forever. Welcome.
August 5, 200916 yr Yes another belated welcome. (I was busy with the good nurse as well. She had a long list of whinges about the patient she saw before me.)

August 13, 200916 yr here's an addendum: been feeling frisky lately, and making plans to lay down some tracks (do some studio recording) at a local studio. Am planning about 5 songs which I've written, and about 5 of my favorite oldies - all rather obscure: couple examples: Lil' Laurie / Sleepy John Estes Needle in a Haystack / Velvelettes one of the origs is a parody in James Brown big band style, titled, "I can't Trust Myself (When I Think of You)" BTW, it's interesting to see the great bunch of mini-bios listed herein. A classical pianist with an avatar of the Blues Brothers - far out. The Blues Brothers movie is one of my top 5 all-time favorites. All the songs in the flik are ones that I've played with bar bands previous to the movie coming out. And to the foxy young lady from Phrae - whoa, I reside just north of there. I'd say 'look me up' when you next visit your homie folks, but my new wife (as of July 25) might have an alternate opinion on that.
August 19, 200916 yr and don't forget the "girlfrien' done took e'rythin' an' I ain't got me no high balcony" blues.

August 28, 200916 yr Welcome onnut (presumably where you live in BKK?). As the good tiger indicates, there is a sub-forum called 'Outside the Box'... but I thought it was 'Out of Order'.
September 7, 200916 yr OK...I guess that it's my turn. I'm 47 and was born in Northern Ireland. While working in Paris (1996) I got a phone call from an old colleague offering me a job in Bangkok writing software for a domestic airline here. Jumped at the chance. In 1997 I met my, later to be, wife here in Bangkok. We were married in 2001 and now have 2 beautiful daughters (6yo and 8yo). I'm the techy side of an internet car rental business. Erm...that's it.
