Phra Farang

Hello, Gentle Readers.

I used to be friends with a foreign monk who was at a wat in Laem Sor, Koh Samui. He went on a walking tour to Bumra and I lost track of him. Anyone know where he is?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Never knew his real name, but pretty sure he is Dutch. He spent most of his time on Samui, did dhamma classes at The Spa Samui, and also maybe served at Suan Mokkh. When I google Phra Farang, I get the other Dutch monk's info.

Phra Farang is the generic title for any monk who is a foreigner then it is followed by his foreign name or if he has been ordained for a long time he has probably been given a Pali name...you would need to know a lot more than Phra Farang to track a foreign monk down as to his whereabouts....
