A buggy transporting tourists to Phuket’s famous zip lining destination, Hanuman World in Kathu, crashed into a tree resulting in 10 people being injured and taken to hospitals.

Yesterday afternoon (January 9), a group 8 tourists from Kazakhstan were traveling on the buggy to the zip line destination when the driver, Boonrak Sri-Iad, who works for Hanuman World, crashed the vehicle into a tree while driving down the slope to go to the parking area.

Thailand, a new world of adventure…. Where statics become a reality!

How the heck can such a vehicle crash so badly? These park buggies usually drive at 20km/h or less.

Failed brakes downhill?

Myth became reality.

You couldn't make this stuff up.

I would normally expect a follow-up police statement about "purple urine" but I think they'll hush that up.

The amazing thing is that they have actually named the attraction and have a photo. Expect a name change soon.

Thailand: Where buggy rides are an extreme sport, Discovery Diving might be your last stop on the way to the bottom, and a diving trip can turn your leg into chop suey which you die from because the boat captain is an idiot and none of the crew knows dick about First Aid. IMHO

if the even a buggy on the way to the car park manages to crash, I really would think thrice before using the zip-line
