Fee schedule, fee for multiple entry renewal

Featured Replies

I've searched for fees, renewal fees, visa fees, fee schedule, cost of visa, renewal cost and I

'm finding nothing here to tell me what the current fees are for visas, renewals/extensions and multiple entry.
For retirement visa extension I've seen someone mention 5000 thb, another said 3800 for extension and 1900 for multiple entry.

The renewed Thai immigration site has a broken link for Fee's and Fines.

Can someone post a link to the current fee schedule?

The fee for an extension of stay is 1900 baht.

The fee for a single re-entry permit is 1000 baht and a multiple is 3800 baht.

For non immigrant visas applied for at an embassy or consulate the fees are 2000 baht for a singe entry and a multiple entry it is 5000 baht. The fees at most embassies consulates are paid for in the local currency for where they are located.

All extensions of stay are 1,900 baht.

Re-entry permits are; Single 1,000 baht, Multiple 3,800 baht.

Is there an expiration date on the re-entry permits?

the single  Re-entry (1)... but how many do you get for the Multiple 3800 baht?

And when you leave : you stop the 90 Days reporting...

but how long can you stay out of Thailand?

Let say you get a Retirement permit and you leave within 2 months: can you stay 6-8 months  out of Thailand and re-enter with a permit without a hassle? (before the expiration of the recent 1 Yr   extension of course.)

Re-entry permits a linked to your permission to stay so they expire on the last day of your permission to stay (1 year extension of stay).

There is no limit of re-entries using a multiple entry permit. You can come and go as often as you want.

You can stay out of the country as long as you want without any hassle.

Thanks.

So Multiple entries come in handy, if you want to visit often  SEA countries, and as much as you want, considering the cheap air tickets  over there... unless they change the rules.

Do VN and Malaysia have entry (visa) fees in or out?

Edited by bttao

The multiple entry would only come in handy if you expect to leave more than three times in a year. It is really easy to just go get a single re-entry permit before your trip if you only occasionally travel.

For Vietnam it depends upon your nationality.

For most nationalities Malaysia allows a visa exempt entry up to 90 days.
