Anyone living in thailand taking Dormirax?

I heard about Dormirax from another member on this forum a few months ago. The guy said he takes it most nights as it helps him sleep.

I tried it a few times and it seems ok. I sometimes suffer from anxiety and feel wound up most of  the time. If you take this regularly is it addictive?

This is the generic brand name: Atarax 10m or 25mg Hydroxyzine dihydrochloride. This is what is in most pharmacies I think.

I have used this but unfortunately for me it does not always help. I get resistant to its effects quite soon if i take it a few nights in a row it wont help anymore. I also feel a bit drowsy when i wake up when I have used it.

I can't imagine an antihystamine being addictive and I have never had a problem with it.

It is not addictive. However the safety of daily use long term has not been studied. In addition as with all meds that make one sleepy, with time you will start to tolerate it and need larger dose.

Best solution is to try to keep use to just a few times a week.
