New vehicles with temporary license plates to be banned

A female passenger has complained on a popular Facebook page that taxi drivers at Mor Chit bus terminal are exploiting the long queues to try to overcharge passengers by refusing to use their meters.

PHUKET: Police believe that a house fire that broke out in a house in Cherng Talay on Saturday night causing an estimated B50,000 in damage started due to a mobile phone charger being left plugged in by the French tenant.
