Motorcyclist Killed as Bus Fails to Stop in Time on Slippery Road in Bangkok
Picture from responders. A 31-year-old motorcyclist has died after losing control of his bike on a wet road and being run over by a bus in Bangkok’s Phra Khanong district. The accident occurred on Sukhumvit Road near Soi 101/2 at approximately 11:00 on 13 March, during heavy rain. Police from Bang Na Station, along with forensic experts from Chulalongkorn Hospital and rescue volunteers, arrived at the scene to investigate. The victim, identified as Mr. Achawit, was found lying on the road with severe head injuries. His Honda Wave motorcycle was nearby, while a Route 180 public bus was stopped about 10 metres away, with the driver waiting to give a statement. A witness reported that the crash was caused by the slippery road conditions due to rain. As Mr. Achawit was riding along the left lane, he lost control and fell. The bus, which was following closely behind, was unable to brake in time, and the front wheel ran over his head, killing him instantly. Authorities took the bus driver in for questioning and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to determine the exact cause of the crash. Further legal proceedings will follow as the investigation continues. -- 2025-03-14 -

Why make it about race? The fools ran, were uncooperative and refused to talk! One thug has a warrant for drugs, just how are they supposed to handle them? They are probably on drugs and they are lucky they didn’t kill an innocent person.
