He borrowed watches off, 4 people , thats a good one

Come on Dave, you must have heard of "Watch swapping parties". You put the watches in a bag and pull one out. As long as it's not your own you can borrow it for a while. Used to be all the rage.

I'd say  Grimm's  fairy tales  were  more  apt.

Well, you could be right but I was thinking of the Mad Hatter and his various quotes about time...'It's always tea time...this watch is exactly two days slow...' etc., Ha!

Maybe Prawit came up with an idea similar to carpool - watchpool !

Why he does not just say that he forgot to declare his watch collection in the value of 30 million. As you can see in the case of Tarit the penalty is only 5000 Baht if you hide 37 million.

The judgments for the possession of unexplained wealth are here rather a reward than a punishment.

It would be more credible if  he said he had  borrowed the watches of a friends octopus thus reducing the amount of witnesses  needed to just the octopus.

Unfortunately they then had no option but to eat the prime witness before he went off.

Knowing  Thailand I'm surprised they don't actually  give a  5000 baht bonus for this instead.

I expect Octo had been consuming too  much alcohol and therefore was "legless", it was the kindest thing to do  a  mercy  killing:smile:

He may have made a third rate witness, but he made a first rate second course...
