A quick one if I may. Checking for new/current rules on extension of Non-0 visa can only find the rules based on marriage, 40K monthly etc. What are current requirements for single person for extension?

Thanks for any help. :o

Extend on what basis? Being single is not a listed reason to extend.
Ok Lop, I'll explain more. Its a friend of mine just lazing around in LOS, money is no problem and is looking around for a property but in no hurry. Got the original visa from Hull. Although he can qualify for a retirement visa he may well decide to start a business this year and thought it might be less hassle extending his Non 0 visa rather than getting a retirement visa and having to switch back or change to Non B.

Any clearer ? Thanks for any help.

Based on retirement is his only option. If he forms a company it would be 2008 before he could apply for a extension based on business.(unless it was BOI)

There is no extension for lazing around either. But he can extend his current O on the basis of retirement with 800k baht in a bank for three months or confirmed income of 65k per month or combination. If he needs to work later it would not be any problem going back to a work extension.

Thanks Lopburi & Sunbelt. Retirement it shall be, appropriate anyway as he seems to have done nothing more arduous than get out of bed since he got to LOS.

Cheers.
