Facebook and wechat

So guys I don't have a smart phone the question I am asking you

can I still connect to Facebook or WeChat from my laptop ?

I've got some contacts who are using both of them and I wonder

if it is possible to talk to them from my laptop (I do know their

contact names) So if I can download Facebook and WeChat from

my laptop do I have to add their names to talk to them?

I wish some one could help me with that

No I don't have a Facebook or WeChat account because I never used

Facebook or WeChat but if I could get one could you tell me how

Really quite simple.
Just go to Facebook and wechat sites, and register. Happy to guide you through, if you get any problems.

Yes I did all that no problems with face book but wechat  ask me to scan the barcode or what you call it

so I tried many times so I can not log in
