CNS economic advisory board to hold talks on economy

The economic advisory board of the Council for National Security (CNS) will hold talks on the present economic situation amidst the currency crisis next week. The conclusions of the talks will be submitted to CNS and the government.

The CNS economic advisory board, chaired by Woraphol Sokatiyanurat (วรพล โสคติยานุรัตน์), was officially appointed on January 12 this year. Mr Worapol said that the global economy will fluctuate more in the near future and Thailand has to find the right economic measures to cope with it.

He expressed his belief that the country will soon regain confidence from investors and foreign businesses will come back to invest in Thailand.
