Hello, I really need your advice.

My cat passed away this morning and I have no idea what to do. Cremation is not an option for me. So do Thai vet clinics bury cats? Does anyone know what vet clinic I can contact?

If not then maybe you know a quiet park or any other place where I can take him to his rest? Just somewhere quiet with not a lot of eyes.

I live in Bangkok and don’t have a car/motorcycle.

Thank you so much.

Sorry just noticed that you had no replies. I sympathize, we have buried a few beloved pets but always had a yard.  Its probably been too long, but if you still have not found a place to bury your cat and you have the body preserved by freezing or otherwise, I will help you, but you would have to come to Samut Prakan,  Bang Pu Mai by taxi. You can float the body out to sea at nearby pier on the gulf coast or at the mouth of the Chao Praya River, place in the mangrove swamp for return to nature, or bury in the Bang Pu Resort park area.  Weekends and holidays a lot of eyes, but weekdays pretty vacant.  Don  email user name at gee mail.

I'm immensely sorry and I truly feel for you.

My cat got run down in front of our house.  Bad section of road - a highway that narrows significantly, and we live on a 150 meter section between two corners where it's dangerous to even walk, and Thais seem to not only be unwilling to slow down for the blind corners, but will simply place they cars in the oncoming lane to keep their speed up.  In the time I've lived here there have seen at least 4 dogs and my cat killed within 50 meters of my house.  I'm surprised a child or adult haven't been killed yet, no less a major vehicle accident.  Give it time.

I buried my cat on a hill on my property overlooking the house and yard.  5 years ago, I still have tears thinking about it.  If you don't have property, then maybe find a nice, secluded place in the forest.  No one will care.

My heartfelt sympathy.
