Police at Suvarnabhumi airport became suspicious when a man asked for their support in helping him arrest unlicensed guides working at the airport.

Jarung Aransut, 45, was questioned and found to be carrying a number of false IDs including cards saying he worked for the Community Education Program and the Internal Security Operations Command.

He also had a press card but was not a reporter either.

It emerged he had paid 1,500 baht for his haul of fake IDs after a friend who came with him was questioned.

Jarung was handed over to the regular cops who are investigating what he was up to.

Cops at the airport told Kom Chad Luek that their suspicions were aroused as operations against illegal guides are carried out on an ongoing basis and they had not heard of any special work that was to be carried out to suppress them.

Bogus officials, come on boys get down to government house there are few there, one who claims to be a Pm the other loves watches

Whether you like it or not, the ones you look down on are official government officials.

Besides, whatever you think is highly unimportant, and because you know that it classifies you as silly.

He didn't claim to be a guide, he wanted help in arresting fake guides.

That’s right... but was a fake guide arrested?

a fake internal security operations command officer was arrested

Or... a fake reporter was arrested

Or... a fake community education program whatever was arrested

in other news today... fake police were reported trying to scam people elsewhere.

thailand... the fake hub of the world.
