Thailand may need to fund its own greenhouse gas reduction effort

 

BANGKOK, 29th January 2018 (NNT)-The Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) has cited the need for Thailand to find financial support to achieve its carbon emission reduction goal after the U.S. withdrew from the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC).

Nine-year-old boy wins khanom chin eating race in Uttaradit

Suspected husband-killer arrested on Tak plantation

A Thai woman, who was sought by police over the murder of her Italian ex-husband, was arrested on Monday in a longan plantation in Tak’s Wang Chao district, five kilometres from the woods where her French boyfriend was captured on Sunday night.

4 metre long python found in goat farm

It started climbing up on one of the house pillars and it took them about 10 minutes to re-capture it and put it in a sack before releasing it back to the jungle.

Last night (January 28), the owner of Kiang Tawan goat farm in Krabi, 56 year old Kiang Yaithong, along with his friends, tried to capture a 4 metre and 15 kilogram python that sneaked inside his farm and ate a cat and a few chickens.

Workers seek help after ‘false promise’ of jobs in Australia

Russian man dies on Krabi beach

An ambulance picked him up in front of Kwang Island and the medical team in the ambulance continued treatment but they weren't able to revive him and he died at 2.30pm.

Court rejects Yingluck’s request to block Bt35-bn rice-pledging compensation

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's financial regulator said on Monday it would inspect all cryptocurrency exchanges and ordered Coincheck to get its act together after hackers stole $530 million worth of digital money from its exchange in one of the biggest cyber heists on record.
