Phuket police decline to comment on alleged child rapist minivan driver

PHUKET:-- Phuket City Police have declined to reveal details on the case involving a school minivan driver who was accused of molesting and raping a seven-year-old child by the child’s parent on Nov 16 last year.

 

Inspector Maj Noocharee Longkaew told The Phuket News today (Feb 1), “The case is in the hands of the provincial court now. They have requested further investigation.

 

“However, I ask to not give any more information on this case or to provide any news, because it concerns children.

Doesn't say or mean that at all.. 

It is just a separate law and crime. 

 

In the same way murder and manslaughter is differentiated

Its sad this germ is being protected. Yet if you steal something you're paraded around with fingers pointed.

He should be shamed and jailed for eternity.

It's not about being right or wrong!  It's about the wording of the picture caption, insinuating that if the child was over 13, everything is OK!  But then, if the parents consent, it would be OK!

 

As far as I'm concerned, 13, 14, 15, it all amounts to the same thing; people like this do it because it's the normal thing to do in a country that allows it to happen, with no deterrent other than a Wai and a 500 Baht fine.

 

Agree or not, this is one ****ed-up place!
