No, I don't dream about the corrupt criminal who was removed from office by a court. Much nicer things to dream about but whatever floats your boat.

I don't hate anyone but I do dislike corrupt lying self enriching entitled politicians. And let's stop pretending, she and her clan are no different. Why some posters insist that she's somehow innocent, honest, and like her brother never ever done anything wrong is up to them.

That’s where you are wrong and many posters have comment about their sentiment. Corruption is corruption. No pretending except the junta practices a rather looped sided enforcement and targeting mostly their political enemies. By the way, you think Prawit will resign, charged with undeclared assets and assets seized like Yingluck.

Have a read through articles about Yingluck, Thaksin, the Shins, PTP, the Junta etc and you'll soon spot those who come on, praise the "honest and elected" Shins and then fizzle out.

The Shins targeted political enemies through Tarit and the DSI and Chalerm. They also used the defamation laws liberally. The Junta uses the NACC and the military when it wants to. That's a trait of politics in many countries.

No. I don't see Prawit ever resigning or the matter pursued. The given explanation will be accepted - end of.

Come on B.B. No one ever say that the Shins are honest; only elected. You always seen as a reasonable poster but this kind of false accusation is throwing you a bad light. Smarten up mate.

interesting who are the people living in her mansion? who gave them permission and when? how much rent are they paying and to who?

Perhaps it is her husband and her son and maybe some members of his family.

If it is her husband and her son then I for one, care.

Why?

Got a problem-totalitarianism failing in your part of the world?

Have you got a problem with allowing innocent people who have never been charged with ANY crime living in the house that they shared with their wife and mother?

Eric, I won't do research for anyone. If you want to deny other posters, and I won't name them as that might contravene forum rules, claim the Shins are innocent, then just look up a few of the threads about YL or her brother. You'll soon see the ones ranging from saying such things as: "she's innocent, she's persecuted, the cases were trumped (ironic word) up, he's innocent, he only stole a fraction of what others did, etc etc etc".

So take you own advice, do some research and stop claiming falsely that I made it up.

Really?

Given your posting history (apart from your social and cultural commentary which I enjoy) you have been anti-Shin and all for peaceful  (lol)Totalitarianism.

Have you turned a corner or flipped over a page?Despaired of the infantile mommy's boys or what?

Or are you being paid?

You can't blame her for being born into wealth

Except she is not the helpless little baby you are trying to paint in your picture, she is 50 years old and has every choice in life unlike the poor Thai she pretends to care about.

No one forced her to promote the interests of the Shinawatra crime family and take over the reigns from her criminal brother currently on the run.

If they are living off the proceeds of crime they are not innocent.  Do you really think they will be homeless or will they just move to another mansion off the books ;) and continue with their lavish lifestyle?

Where is your criticism of Yingluck, who abandoned her family and went on the run?

These assets will be better spent in the hands of the Thai government so why not let them try to recoup some of the catastrophic losses Thailand suffered as a result of her rice scam.

If you think I am being paid then report me.

I never bother to look up a posters history and even for you I won'y bother. I will however accord you the same status that I have given other posters and simply ignore you.

Goodbye.

There is no doubt they did give to the needy - indisputable fact! unfortunately for the wrong reasons, they did it for political gain, which in the grand scheme of things is not so bad, the 'others" gave nothing!

I too am a guest here - a paying guest - so expect to be well fed

Mate, both you and I know, we are only guests here because of our ATM status, once that's emptied, we are no longer guests, so don't expect to be well fed, or fed at all from this mob.

Gave to the needy - :clap2:Robin Hoods :cheesy: :cheesy:

A few crumbs, now and then. And kept the biggest, very biggest, slices for themselves, family, extended family and cronies.

They're nothing like Robin Hood, more like the Robber Barons! 110 million baht mansion, jewels, designer handbags worth millions of baht, private planes etc etc. Just newer on the block and without the backing of the military. If they had the latter, they'd have been exactly the same as this the older established elites.

I trust you can read, and I didn't try to paint the picture that she is a helpless baby, although I am sure it would be disheartening for anyone to have their assets seized by a military government/court and the rest.

You do know who is running the country now don't you, and how much wealth does his deputy have, we can all see has been wearing 25 top notch watches and he is still in power, think he is going to resign, that's like the big chief saying he doesn't want to hold onto the top seat, because it is for the benefit of the people, give me a break, Yingluck was mild compared to these clowns, although I am sure it will come out in the wash, one day, i.e. if they don't keep silencing those that oppose them, remember, they have absolute power and can literally do what they want.
