Empty blue book

Featured Replies

Bit of an odd one.. have been requested by immigration to provide a copy of pages 2 and 3 of the blue book as well as page 1. They wish to confirm that pages 2 and 3 are empty.

For context, we rent from a foreigner, and nobody is registered in the blue book.

The blue book is unfortunately outside of the country and also inaccessible. We only have a copy of page 1.

Looking at the other blue books it appears that property reference numbers only get added when a person is registered on that page.

This makes me think "surely pages 2 and 3 would be completely unidentifiable as relating to a specific property, so why are they asking.."

Can anyone confirm that an empty page 2 and 3 of a blue book is just a completely empty generic page with no information pertinent to the property whatsoever?

Yes Page 2 + 3 looks like they have marks to identify that they depends to the same as Page 1. So if you do a copy, I don't think they will see the copy is from which blue book.

Did you mean 'has NO marks'?

I have 3 books for adjoining houses, page 2 and 3, are the same in each book, unless a persons details are added, so one book page 2 and 3 could be used for a different book page 1 and no one would know. does that help
