Hi. Visa members.

We need two Myanmar workers, Handyman and maid to housing area. Is it too big hassle or worth go the labor office Phuket and do all the paperwork our self or use a agent. I understand we need the right paper first before find and hiring.

Any help or suggestion very appreciated ?

Yes spot on! It’s a bit of a process get a good agent who knows the ropes.

Indeed. You will be completely amazed by their work ethic.

Had a Lao maid employed for several years. Lots of paperwork, and medical check, and in our case various places to visit, so indeed worth using an agent. We (my Thai GF) used an agent, WP is due for two years (if rules not changed recently); we had the maid for six years, so been though it three times, and I'm happy we didn't do it ourselves...
