Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha praised Thung Yai Naresuan wildlife sanctuary chief Wichien Chinnawong and his men for doing their job straightforwardly in making the arrest of business tycoon Premchai Karnasuta’s party for alleged hunting.

He also urged all government officials to do their jobs properly with full awareness of their duties so that they could be relied on by the people.

The prime minister said today (Feb 10) that the government had attached importance to the protection and rehabilitation of natural resources and wildlife and also the suppression of all forms of corruption.

Hmm, This is interesting. From the top.

Still you gotta love the urging of officials to do their jobs properly,  the only time they do their jobs properly is when the PM requests that they do?

It's must be true then, they really have it in for Lord Lardbucket.

Here's an idea, get the good Wichien to go have a look at the Thai fishing industry.

You are serious with your statement on the protection and rehabilitation of the natural environment, Mr PM.

Unless it involves a member of the Junta !!!

Then we will construct any distraction we can think of, to keep you all busy until you forget about Toad Boy and his watches...

Probably all done to impress the blond one who arrives in the next few days, Boris Johnson had this as one of the talking points, so laid on just for Boris. it will all be forgotten when Boris leaves

As if this guy has any moral authority left.   He threatens Thailand that he will become more aggressive if his deputy prime gets heavily scrutinized as to where his ostentatious watches come from.  He is a tired old windbag that says nothing of substance.

More likely he now has something on someone with influence elsewhere that he can use as leverage.

It is the right signal from the PM. It could be a beginning.

But he should send a few trustworthy and well trained survival fighters to protect him.

First because the ranger deserves it and second to encourage other government officers to act with integrity..

bla,bla only deflection from prawit or activists

Impossible to involve the junta, they all have a blanket amnesty remember?
