BANGKOK, 12th February 2018 (NNT) - The Prime Minister has urged Thai people to do good things under Thai Niyom scheme and learn from the mistakes in past.

Government Spokesman Lt. Gen. Sansern Kaewkamnerd disclosed that Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has invited Thai people to do good things in Thai Niyom scheme. Gen Prayut stressed that this is a crucial period for the country to step over the conflict in the past by learning from the past lessons and help lead the nation to prosperity for our children.

The key to sustainable development for the country is love and unity. Everyone has to strengthen their communities, know their rights, duties and the mechanism of the government, keep up with democracy and prevent and solve drug problems under the public-private partnership.

Lt.Gen. Sansern went on to say that the Prime Minister understands what the public expects from the government and has called on people to believe that all the government’s operations are meant to meet the expectations of the people, remove the traumatic wounds of the country and rehabilitate the society for stability, prosperity and sustainability in the long run.

Think the Thai people are far too aware that the government does the least it can do to help them.  It mostly just gets in the way or provides bad comedy relief after a hard day of toiling.

The further you go up the ladder in Thai society the more talk and less action.  Endless, meaningless talk about democracy does make for a representative government.

Let me see...

A bunch of re-packaged money from the government ministries doing exactly what they were doing before.

Two billion baht for a lunch program. 2,000,000,000.00 Baht!!! On lunch!!!

And this will...

"...meet the expectations of the people, remove the traumatic wounds of the country and rehabilitate the society for stability, prosperity and sustainability in the long run..."

The level of delusion leaves me speechless.

1 million for 1 plain flight to feed 12 Thais lol

Prayut said, " The key to sustainable development for the country is love and unity. "

History of Thailand in  just a short period;

For most of the 1980s, Thailand was ruled by prime minister Prem Tinsulanonda, a democratically-inclined[citation needed] strongman who restored parliamentary politics. Thereafter the country remained a democracy apart from a brief period of military rule from 1991 to 1992. The populist Thai Rak Thai party, led by prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, governed from 2001 until 2006. In 2006 mass protests against the Thai Rak Thai party's alleged corruption, prompted the military to stage a coup d'état, in September. A general election in December 2007 restored a civilian government, but in May 2014 another military coup returned the absolute power to the army.

Where is John Lennon (Beatles) love love love.

Need I say more?

How can anybody keep up with something that doesn't exist? It's a dictatorship, not a democracy.

Something.....aeeeh, well,  something has just happened in my aaee  stomach............sorry....................................

amateur...

The Chinese government knows exactly what they need to prevent if they want to cement their rule for centuries to come: Civil commitment and solidarity.

And this guy, being in the lucky position of a dictator in a country largely without those tries to encourage them? Even if just pretent?

So either he's a bloody amateur, or he is very confident of Thai indifference and selfhisness.

Imagine... people helping traffic victims. Reporting dangerous drivers. Defending a single girl beaten up by a group of guys. Reporting cops trying to extort money or having a lifestyle far beyond what their meagre salary would allow. All fine and dandy, until some citizens who don't know their place do the same with high ranking officials...
