Visa in Vientiane - How to get it early?

In case if someone was wondering:

 

I can confirm they start to give back passports with visa from 13.30 (i had 007 number so i got mine at around 13.35).

 

Also i went there at 6.00am on Monday and there were already 4 ppl waiting in front of embassy. After 6.30 visa run invasion started and before 7.00 que growed to 100-150 ppl.

I think you would have to be very lucky to make your flight from Udon at 16:50. 1. Yes 2. At 7:30 you might be the first in line. What day of the week are you going. Avoid Monday and Thursda
