Walking Street finally cleaned up by cops - with brooms and brushes and lots of suds

Pattaya cops have finally done something concrete to clear up the image of Pattaya's notorious Walking Street.

Armed with brushes and brooms and cleaning liquid they joined forces with the local operators to give the famed strip a makeover with the long arm of the law putting in some much needed elbow grease.

Chief of the Walking Street operators' association Naris Petchrarat said it was high time that the strip was given a good scrubbing as it was well past the point when the street was getting a bad name for being dirty.

Pictures from Sophon showed all the authorities and volunteers amid the suds ahead of Valentine's Day this week.

And the term " Walking St scrubbers " would never be quite the same ..

They need to use a lot of bleach,to get the ingrained muck

out.

Why do they need to go public , they cleaned a street, big deal, just to make the headlines, now do it weekly and I will get more impressed.

And now the BIB has found it's true colors..as street cleaners.

Instead of a broom use an Excavator.

Darn, someone got them to put their phones away.

I've seen better PR stunts- even in Thailand.

Absolutely hilarious.

Mr. Naris Petcherat   chief of walking street traders association.      Elected---what salary ???      I wonder if he has one of those businesses over the beach area   ???

secondly  all this bleach and clean up liquid,   is it going into the sea under the business premises that are illegal ??

And now rince it straight into the bay

Is that a soapy massage???

Is this the active section of the inactive posts we all hear about??

Clean up checklist:

Beach encroachment...No

Illegal signage...No

Drug dealers...No

Prostitutes...No

Underage hostesses...No

Dirty pavement...Yes,  but lets just hose off all these cleaning chemicals or soap into the drains so it can easily flow directly into the sea.

There maybe a career path for them afterall

That's a lot of spooge.

The problem with that suggestion Geordie is that the black muck is bleached but still remains as white muck.......

Perhaps they're being punished? I can't imagine ANY BiB doing this willingly.

Once again, I think that the powers that be misunderstood the message about Pattaya needing to be cleaned up!

Its nothing new "they"  (they being various peoples)  wash the Walking street street quite regularly.

High order critical thinking behind this stunt?

No damned thinking at all. Idiots.
