Thailand will enjoy over 4% gross domestic product (GDP) growth this year, mainly due to its strong growth in exports and tourism.

This was what the private and the public sectors voiced as they made adjustments on their estimated GDP growth for this year.

Vietnam estimated at 6.8% GDP.  Got some catching up to do.

Former sick man of Asia Phillipines estimates growth 6.8. Will see which country will overtake Thailand as the number 2 largest economy in ASEAN. It will be quite soon.

This is a reasonable increase in growth given that it collapsed to next nothing in 2014 when Prayut took over. Problem is this growth is by good fortune and nothing to do with the fools who run the country.

great but, ''we cant breath the air anymore''...so what now ??

They are always chasing figures here...but the reality for the average Thai or expat/immigrant isn't so cool. These figures basically reflect the deal for the big business Chinese elite types...not your average Joe here....hmmmm.
