An Indian national was grievously injured after being thrown from a Toyota Vigo that flipped after hitting a barrier on Route 7 kilometer marker 121.

Police and medics found Raul Jain, 36, in a pool of blood after he was thrown from the vehicle. He was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Bits of barrier were strewn over the road.

There was no definitive answer for what happened though Pattaya News noted that the area is under construction and dangerous.

No have....

Quite a high speed somersault by the looks of the remains of the car!!

No have....

I agree the discipline of not wearing seat belts as front seat passengers. See this all the time in Bangkok.

Speed kills.  I hate over-powered pickups bullying their way through traffic at speed, veering from lane to lane.  If only the BIB had motorbike patrols.

No reports of it being injured.

When in Rome ... at least he didn't claim brake failure or fled the scene ...

Indians tend to have a fatalistic attitude. Wearing a seatbelt shows a lack of confidence in spiritual protection with an unfortunate result like this.
