For a couple of albums under his own band Snakepit which was finally disbanded (2nd time) in 2001.

Finally, after a one off gig with fellow ex-G'n'R Duff McKagan, Steven Adler and Matt Sorum at a benefit concert, they decided to form a new band that still play today, called Velvet Revolver.

They briefly hired ex,exG'n'R guitarist Izzy Stradling but swapped him in for Wasted Youth's Dave Kushner. and their singer is the guy from stone temple pilots I think.
