SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – Facebook Inc on Thursday put an end to a test of splitting its signature News Feed into two, an idea that roiled how people consumed news in the six countries where it occurred and added to concern about Facebook’s power.

Equifax discovers another 2.4 million customers hit by data breach

(Reuters) – Equifax Inc said on Thursday that it identified an additional 2.4 million U.S. consumers affected by last year’s massive data breach, bringing the total number of people whose data was compromised to more than 147 million.

Legal action to be taken against an illegal golf course on Ko Samui

PHUKET: The Region 8 Court of Appeal on Wednesday dismissed another land right case filed against the Phuket sea gypsies in Rawai, upholding their right to occupy land in sea gypsy village at the southern end of Phuket.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Registration for new political parties in Thailand began on Friday with the Election Commission (EC) noting that 34 groups turned up to register, the first sign of political activity being officially allowed in the country since a 2014 coup.

PHUKET: A Phuket hotel worker suffered minor injuries this morning after he fell asleep at the wheel causing him to crash into a roadside restaurant before coming to rest in a roadside ditch. Four passengers in the car escaped uninjured.
