simoh1490 Posted March 3, 2018 Share Posted March 3, 2018 The average exchange rate currently is 30.78, give or take 4% - https://daytodaydata.net/ USD is very weak right now, mostly because of political dysfunction in the US but also because of comparison to other countries such as Europe which are even weaker. Don't fall for the " TG exchange" copycat which is a rip off. I said if you got to constantly ask about the baht strength then you shouldn't be coming you will just make yourself and everyone around you miserable. Like many people I did an ATM withdrawal and it wouldn't make any difference if I was in Pattaya, Bangkok or Egypt. But remember we are talking USD and that means Americans who have banking options unlike the let's say the Brits who get screwed by their banking institutions. Americans have no fee options, for example, my Schwab ATM charges no fees and reimburses the Thai bank fee of 220 baht.
