Reminds me of an interview I saw on tv about a former Swiss whore, happily married with two children and now a Swiss deputy. She also wrote a book about her story. She is in her forties and appreciated by all or she would not be a deputy in the first place, especially in Switzerland. Did her husband marry her because she was a whore? I do not think so. You need to remember (and accept) that Thai girls "BG's in particular" are very experienced in the art of separating men from as much of the folding stuff as is humanly possible. They employ various tactics in doing this. Some use the sick buffalo, sick mother, etc., stories to play on your sympathies. This has worked for them for aeon's but is now getting a bit worn out. Perhaps your GF is doing the opposite and telling you exactly what she thinks you want to hear. "and if indeed it is true (what she is telling you) it is exactly what you want to hear from her" I suggest that if you are genuine in your quest that you could do what someone has already advised which was "arrive several days early" perhaps more than the 5 days as was suggested. Have some plausible story (for your early arrival) for when you meet up with her (after doing your spade work i.e. checking her out) Go to what were her usual haunts (the bars) etc. You must though remember that BG's have eyes in the back of their heads and they have many friends who will report back that they have spotted you lurking about asking questions. The alternative (better, but one that will cost you some money) is to retain the services of a Thai private eye and have the slueth check out the facts for you. These guys are fully aquainted with all the methods. (you will need to give him a photograph) If she is still selling her flange he will find out within 24 hours. If she is at home with the folks he will verify that as well. He will also tell you whether she has a husband/BF/kids etc., in the background. Thais are close to being one of the most devious people on the planet and a Thai Private dick is at the upper end in terms of being devious and there ain't nothing that they can't/won't find out. Might cost a little bit but if you are thinking of something long term it will be money well spent. And I am speaking from some experience.
