Looking for wool for darning

I don't know where else to ask about this in the forum.

I'm after a short length of wool to repair the cuffs of a jumper I bought in the UK.

 

Now I know that if locals have never seen wool products before, they'll insist it's not available in Thailand, which is just what my wife and her seamstress friend have said.

I only need one foot or so in length, green would be good.

I'm in Udon, but I do have to go to Bangkok next week, if maybe someone knows of a shop there?

Handicraft shops have it. I know of one in Chiang Mai, but if there is one there should be at least one in Bkk.

Otherwise find the places that sell sewing requirements and they may have such.
