Forgot to pick-up my VISA extension

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a Non-Immigrant Type-O VISA, I applied for extension and I was supposed to pick it up on 11th of February but forgot to do so and now is 6th of March. Is it to late to pick it up now? And what will be the consequences?

Not sure what you have or what the problem is.

Did you apply for an extension of stay based upon marriage to a Thai and were given a underconsideration stamp with report back date of 11 February.? If that is the case I am not sure what immigration will say or do when you go to get your one year extension stamp. You may of lost your application and are on an overstay now.

I applied for extension of stay for Non Immigrant O, but not based on marriage. The extension is suppose to be 3 month. And yes, I forgot to go and pick up the VISA

What is/was your permitted to stay until date?   A 90 day extension is not that common so hard to say what might happen (how important to Thailand your stay may be) as all we know it was not for marriage..

I am working as a volunteer, I have an work permit and I extended my VISA before (2 times for 90 days up until now, because my position is for on year here and I came with 90 days, so I had to extended each 3 months) so it was nothing new( it was more a formality) the only problem is that this time I forgot to pick it up and I would like to know what are the consequences, and if by any matters is possible to still pick it up even though I am this late

I appears you are now on an overstay since you failed to apply for a new 90 day extension. You will be fined 500 baht day for the overstay when you leave the country to go out for a new non-o visa.

Do you have a under consideration stamp in your passport with a report back date on it?

If you do you could go to immigration and see what they say or do.

Forgot to pick up your visa extension? You do realize that is totally impossible?
