A former Russian agent with links to a spy who is currently fighting for his life in a UK hospital amid suspicions he was poisoned has been holidaying in Thailand.

Sexy Russian agent Anna Chapman this week shared photos of herself at Rawai beach in Phuket.

The seductive spy is believed to be staying at Nai Harn Baan Bua where a villa costs from approximately 20,000 baht per night.

Dubbed "Russia's most glamorous secret agent" Anna Chapman was one of 10 Russian spies exchanged for Sergei Skripal as part of a prisoner swap in 2010.

Chapman, who had acquired British citizenship through her marriage to a former public schoolboy and still uses her ex-husband’s surname, despite being stripped of her British passport, is now a Putin supporter and propagandist for the Kremlin.

She has since worked as a TV presenter in her native Russia and runs her own fashion label

Photos of Chapman were uploaded to her Instagram account just hours after Sergei Skripal and his daughter were suspected of being poisoned at a shopping centre in Wiltshire, England.

Skripal, 66, a former colonel in the FSB who Russia has convicted of spying for Britain, who along with his daughter remains in intensive care after being exposed to a mystery substance as they sat on a bench in Salisbury last Sunday.

Both collapsed and were unconscious when they were treated by medics on Sunday afternoon.

Reports from the UK claim Skripal had recently gone public saying he was in fear for his life and his poisoning could be a Kremlin backed assassination of the former spy, Moscow considers a traitor.

On Tuesday, British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said British would respond “robustly” if there was any evidence of Russian involvement in the collapse of Sergei Skripal.

Russia has denied any involvement.

On Tuesday it was also revealed the UK’s counter terrorism police has taken over the investigation into the collapse of Skripal and his daughter.

Meanwhile, relatives of Mr Skirval told the BBC they believe he may have been poisoned and that in the past two years his brother, wife and son have all died in mysterious circumstances.

Well, the old Republic knows all about those; it's given sanctuary to enough of them.

As well no one else was (as yet) affected by the substance.
