webfact Posted March 13, 2018 Share Posted March 13, 2018 6 million meth pills, 160kg of 'ice' seized in Loei By The Nation Police foiled an attempt to smuggle 6.4 million methamphetamine pills and 160 kilograms of crystal meth, or “ice”, across the Mekong River into Loei's Chiang Khan district late on Monday night A police patrol unit spotted a Toyota Fortuner SUV at the bank of the river in Ban Huay Suak in Tambon Buhom at 10pm. When the driver saw police he attempted to speed away but a policeman fired at the tyres bringing the vehicle to a halt. Police saw men leave the vehicle and flee. Police found 6.4 million meth pills and 160 kilograms of crystal meth in the vehicle.
