Is this a record Thai classrom size?

Featured Replies

My lady was talking to a young Thai school girl about how many students where in her class, I would say she is about nine or ten.
I asked her to repeat the answer as I was quite surprised - 78 in total.

Where's the school? Some rural schools combine different levels in the same classroom. Post needs more info.

Have had 55 in a class.

I bet only half turned up!

Our village school does not have 40 children but has 6 teachers and assistants plus head master.

?

In Hong Kong I had 57 reluctant 13-year-olds in a classroom licensed for 25. That was before my breakdown

My stepdaughters class of 8yr olds has 7 in it.

:shock1:

Niece of my wife is in Thai public school in Phuket town. She is 7 years old, 26 children in class. All very average, no special provisos.

Yes, 78 is a record.  (As are 45 and 33-1/3)

Largest I've ever had was 42 (highly competitive public), smallest 13 which grew to 15 (private EP program).

I had 90 kindergarten kids and 3 Thai helpers! 5555

Sadly 100-1000s
