ministry of foreign affairs stamp requirement ?

Featured Replies

i wonder if anyone had to go to bkk to get a stamp at ministry of foreign affairs on the income document

in pattaya immigration for retirement extension ?

Edited by poanoi

Thus far, I have not read any reports of this being requested at the Retirement desk in Jomtien.

At one time, the conversion desk requested this, but they then stopped accepting the letters entirely (I attempted with an MFA certified income-letter).

By contrast to some other desks, the personnel at the Retirement desk have a reputation for being friendly, helpful, etc - not trying to create problems for applicants.

They do not ask for the verification of consular officers signature for an extension extension application.

I think they still do accept them for for a non immigrant visa application if the signature is verified by the Department of Consular affairs of the MFA.

I think yours was a one off case.
