M.R. Pridiyathorn: BTS-extension routes to be proposed to Cabinet in next two weeks

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister M.R.Pridiyathorn Devekula (ปรีดิยาธร เทวกุล) has indicated that the construction of BTS-extension routes will be proposed to the Cabinet for consideration in the next two weeks.

DPM M.R. Pridiyathorn said that the BTS-extension routes are divided into three different categories. They include the BTS, MRT, and BRT traveling from Rangsit-Chachengsao-Bangkok (รังสิต-ฉะเชิงเทรา -กรุงเทพ ). The government will seek loans from Japan bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) to implement the project, while bonds will be issued should the fund is inadequate.

As for the break even (worthiness) of the construction, the details will be presented to National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) for consideration.
