Work permit

Featured Replies

Hello, i just want to ask,  is it possible to leave thailand without cutting the WP?

I have a friend there, she is a volunter/missionary. She already had a work permit. The situation is she want to leave the country and cross to cambodia to work there. Is it ok to leave without cutting the work permit? She's not employed there she's a volunter.

| will appreciate your response. Thank you.

Can she leave Thailand without first getting her work permit cancelled by the Department of Employment? Yes, she can.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

What visa is she on? What do you mean by "cutting" the work permit? What is the process like for becoming a missionary in Cambodia? And how easy or difficult is it to get a work permit there, by the way?

90 days extension.

What i mean is to cancel.

My friend said that someone told her to cut the WP before leaving.

But i think she can leave thailand without cancelling the WP because she's not employed she's just a volunter. Am I right? I just want to help her because she's confused and have no idea about that.
