Next time you copy and paste something from the web be so fair to give credit to the author of the piece.

https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2018/03/of-a-type-developed-by-liars/

thank you......?  so you think my post was writed good?

nothing copied and pasteded.  just little ole me writing at my laptop

of a type developed in america.

***thanks for the link.  good article!  all should read.

***haha, okay, i see it now.  that author also used his

laptop to reference "of a type."  great minds think alike.

aside from that coincidence, anything in my post

incorrect?  i have an open mind.  just waiting for some

evidence, something besides "feelings."

not my job to provide alternate theories.  would just get my post deleted
as spreading conspiracy theories.

it's up to the brits to prove it, if they can.  obviously they cannot.
if there were evidence, we'd have seen something by now....

IIRC the investigation (domestic HMG & independent) is ongoing so ‘obviously’ awaiting the fully conclusion will yet to be released.

Unless your directly privy to Police forensic analysis.

Also, seeing as it’s in the CBRN category, or NBC to the old school, do you have any specialist subject matter knowledge to aid a swifter result for the British?

the latest from inspector clouseau's lesser-talented comrades

has the highest concentration found on the door of their house,

with the agent allegedly administered as a "gloopy" substance

left on the doorknob.

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-43577987

so they were exposed to nerve agent, left home, drove to a

pub, then drove to a restaurant, spent an hour eating, drove

to a park........and found 45 minutes later?  (see map timeline)

according to the bbc http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-43377698

" Novichoks were designed to be more toxic than other chemical weapons, so some versions would begin to take effect rapidly - in the order of 30 seconds to two minutes. "

why not wait until the results are in?  opcw has a sample now, and will

take weeks to confirm.  how did the brits confirm in hours?  oh, they

didn't, at least not according to an article linked a few pages back.

of course this could be an extra super special slow acting formula that

allowed them to wander around with no effect for several hours, eating

and drinking and driving.  i'm no expert, just feel that we want soooo bad

for this to be russia's doing, that we ignore anything that doesn't support

the narrative.

Yes, of course - you're only providing vague hints about conspiracy etc. That's apparently alright.

Why would you assume that all evidence and information would immediately be made public, in a case such as this?

Indeed, you're no expert, but you go on about details as if you are. You're also making a whole lot of assumptions as to information appearing on media. And, of course, any narrative that points in Russia's direction is either ignored or derided.

vague hints?  conspiracy?  not at all.

i won't be goaded into alternate theories.  see above.

i believe the brits are accusing russia for political gain.

they don't know, they have no evidence, but hitting russia works.

the ocpw testing may confirm it was a specific blend of chemicals.

the tests may even confirm "novachok" was used.  that will lead one

to suspect russian involvement, but won't in any way confirm.

we've got plenty of narrative, but as yet no evidence.

i'll wait for something other than the claims of a politician.

...What was the point of claiming other countries can produce it, without explicitly referring to motives?....

you see, at this point, we don't even know what the substance was.

(or how it was delivered, or who delivered it, or where it was made)

in a couple weeks, we'll have the results of the opcw testing.

in the best case, they will be able to identify the substance,

hopefully not using the "of a type" formulation, but rather an

actual identification.

i mention other countries because the formula has been published,

and other nations not only have the capability, but have worked on

the substance.

if it turns out they were poisoned wth a lethal dose of aspirin, do

we blame germany?  aspirin is "of a type" developed in germany.

or blame france?  aspirin is "of a type" discovered in france.

@ChouDoufu

You're simply at it  again - pretending objectivity, but already "knowing" how things will pan out.

Even if  other countries could or can manufacture the exact same substance used - what would be their interest in offing the guy? Nonsense deflections about aspirin notwithstanding.

Novichok's existence was revealed by chemist Dr Vil Mirzayanov in the 1990s, via Russian media. He later defected to the US, where he published the chemical formula in his book, State Secrets
