Hospital confirms scavenger dies of blood infection, not by injuries from beating

He didn't "die after being kicked", he was released from hospital after treatment for the attack and taken home.  He was taken to the hospital 2 weeks later for treatment for a suspected blood infection form which he died later.

so the beating he took where he was left for dead had nothing to do with it,so everyone can be rest assured we have ALL GOT IT WRONG. B.S.

  • So, he is just referred to as a 'scavenger' now. How degrading and dehumanising. Elderly gentleman, Senior citizen, Old man, would all be more polite, appropriate, and respectful.

  • Yeah right, so this old guy would have died at the same time even if he wasn't attacked.

  • seems like his mammy has been at it again.

Blood infections that can be fatal are not uncommon in the elderly and a "beating" doesn't necessarily cause a blood infection.

This probably is a case of "we have ALL GOT IT WRONG"  (well, you have, anyway)unless you are his doctor.   Your indignant ranting of "B.S." sure is.

What difference would it have made?

if it happened at the hospital you may want to avoid the place! but feel free to go there.
