How to stop moving icons ?

Recommended Posts

The picture shows four white dots... It seems the home screen is spanned accross 4 screens.

To reduce thye number of screens to one screen, first move icons from screens 2, 3 & 4 to screen 1 and then follow instructions on the link to remove screens 2, 3 & 4.

Thanks for responding. From what you're saying the solution seems to be=
If the 4 screens are needed therefore must stay=
Place 4 identical icons on each screen on the lower row.(this switchable row got a name???)
That should do the trick, right?

I am afraid I don't get it.
Q= does the last icon row have its own setting name under which the sliding of the last row can be blocked? This will result in the same icon row to be displayed on each and every screen.

BTW my idea to set for each of the screens identical icons was rejected by the system .Snip-it_1522733177875.jpg

  • 3 weeks later...

The device can function with one single home screen.

The original design idea, I believe, is that additional icons, above and beyond what could fit on one screen, overflow onto additional home screens.

If additional screens are emptied of icons then the additional screens can be deleted ...leaving one single home screen.

Icons can be moved from additional screens by (1) deleteing them (2) moving onto other screens (3) cascading them together into folders.

Yes I think you could create identical shortcuts (icons) on each screen BUT!! why would you want that? It's becuase you always want the required icons to be at hand, right? Well doesn't " one single home screen" do just that ?

A = Your proposal is not in accord with the functionalty of the software.
