BANGKOK — Junta chairman Prayuth Chan-ocha on Tuesday said Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva should watch his words after the politician told his party members they cannot vote for Prayuth as the next prime minister.

Speaking to reporters today, Prayuth suggested Abhisit’s blunt instruction is disrespectful, and that he might change his mind after general elections slated for 2019.

"Speaking to reporters today, Prayuth suggested Abhisit’s blunt instruction is disrespectful, and that he might change his mind after general elections slated for 2019."

Is this allusion to the fix already being in and a thinly veiled threat?

I do wonder what his reaction will be when (if) there is an election and he is rejected...

I suspect that it will be very messy.

Khun Prayuth has stated he will not run for PM next year,

Believe it or not

Clearly The Great Savior has completely lost it!!

And it is getting worse by the minute......The mascot doll....The Shins......Claiming to fight corruption....The spying on journalists on social media....

Claiming people who want free elections are causing confusion...

And all this today.....

Wonder if all this was started by an innocent picture of Yingluck and Mr. T....?

If he continue like this Thaitanic is headed for disaster....!!

Remember his no coup, no coup, no coup mantra leading up to (yes you guessed it) the coup.......

Absolutely no doubt whatsoever then that he is in the running then. If that isn't a hat being thrown in the ring, I don't know what is.

I wonder how many more people will get threatened before the whole debacle is over?

Prayuth might not know the difference between an educated PM and a very uneducated one like himself.

Why is he acting like a child who's lost its teddy? Okay, I know the answer already.

It was probably his cardboard cutout that was speaking driven by Thailand 4.0 AI software.

Abhisit is being 'disrespectful' to Prayut, says dinosaur Prayut.

And what about robbing the entire nation at gun-point of its freedom, democracy, liberty of self-expression,  universal human and civil rights? Is THAT not disrespectful to the Thai people  - to the highest, most traitorous degree?!!!

He's just making any excuse he can, not that he needs an excuse to postpone/delay the next election so he can stay in power. Another little man who's power crazy

Who supports or doesn’t support me, is up to them, but to say things like that, does it sound good?

Harden up, there's plenty more where that came from.

Sadly, it would have made no difference.   Two thousand other generals with boundless love of country stand ready to take his place, demanding nothing in return.

Prayut wastes his talents as a PM in politics. I wish he would focus on the music only. He should compose and sing his own songs of happiness.

On second thought, his music is so squirmingly bad I prefer him to stick with trying to govern.

Oh my god, he can't be serious. So the leader of one of the biggest political parties in Thailand cannot publicly state his party would not vote for Prayuth if such a vote actually became a reality. Why not, is he already trying to ensure the elections go the way of that fake referendum a while back ?

Disgraceful and an indication those elections will be rigged and will not be free and fair.

But of course with the constitution already rigged in his favour, what the hell does he have to worry about. If he plays his cards right, the democrats will vote for him to avoid a stalemate. Abhisit cannot be trusted to keep his word...

He said they can vote for the man-child if they want but can no longer be members of the party. There's a difference.
