BANGKOK — Junta chairman Prayuth Chan-ocha on Tuesday said Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva should watch his words after the politician told his party members they cannot vote for Prayuth as the next prime minister.

 

Speaking to reporters today, Prayuth suggested Abhisit’s blunt instruction is disrespectful, and that he might change his mind after general elections slated for 2019.

It's not getting any better here...

Not only can he not accept any form of criticism, but he also can’t handle rejection or people’s right to choose if it’s not him. 

 

Scary stuff and it’s getting worse. Time to wake up, Thailand.

I do wonder what his reaction will be when (if) there is an election and he is rejected...

Absolutely no doubt whatsoever then that he is in the running then. If that isn't a hat being thrown in the ring, I don't know what is.

I wonder how many more people will get threatened before the whole debacle is over?

And what about robbing the entire nation at gun-point of its freedom, democracy, liberty of self-expression,  universal human and civil rights? Is THAT not disrespectful to the Thai people  - to the highest, most traitorous degree?!!!

He's just making any excuse he can, not that he needs an excuse to postpone/delay the next election so he can stay in power. Another little man who's power crazy

Sadly, it would have made no difference.   Two thousand other generals with boundless love of country stand ready to take his place, demanding nothing in return.

Prayut wastes his talents as a PM in politics. I wish he would focus on the music only. He should compose and sing his own songs of happiness.

Oh my god, he can't be serious. So the leader of one of the biggest political parties in Thailand cannot publicly state his party would not vote for Prayuth if such a vote actually became a reality. Why not, is he already trying to ensure the elections go the way of that fake referendum a while back ?

 

Disgraceful and an indication those elections will be rigged and will not be free and fair. 

 

But of course with the constitution already rigged in his favour, what the hell does he have to worry about. If he plays his cards right, the democrats will vote for him to avoid a stalemate. Abhisit cannot be trusted to keep his word...
