Yet only one people is constantly ordered to “go back” somewhere else, even though they returned to the land where their identity, language, faith, history, and civilization were born.

The Jewish people are not foreign tourists in Judea.

They did not name them selves after this land.

This land was named after them .

Our kingdoms stood here.

Our language was born here.

Our holiest places are here.

Our history is buried beneath every road.

For two thousand years, Jews prayed toward Jerusalem, mourned Jerusalem, dreamed of Jerusalem, and ended their prayers with the words, “Next year in Jerusalem.”

Then they finally returned to Jerusalem, and suddenly the descendants of empires began calling them colonizers.

The irony would be hilarious if it were not so dangerous.

You may criticize an Israeli government.

You may debate borders, policies, and the future of Palestinians.

But you do not get to erase thousands of years of Jewish history while standing on land shaped by your own country’s conquests.

You do not get to enjoy the outcome of your country’s history while demanding that the Jewish people dismantle theirs.

And you certainly do not get to lecture an Indigenous Middle Eastern people about returning to its ancestral homeland.

So before you shout “Free Palestine” , take a quick look at the history beneath your own feet.

Because if your solution to every historical injustice is to dismantle the country that exists there today, then please show us how it is done.

I have one answer to you. Seeing the post WWII world let Israel continue down this road, and even support it, makes us look like hypocrites. We punish others for doing the same things while turning a blind eye when Israel does it.

Iraq got invaded for their attack on Kuwait , just like Gaza got invaded for their attack on Israel .

Nick, you are mixing two Iraq wars. Iraq was sanctioned and attacked for invading Kuwait in 1990. The US invaded Iraq in 2003 without specific UN authorization and was never punished for it. That actually proves my point better than yours. Different rules depending on who does it.

Wasn't the 2003 war a continuation of the 1990 war because Iraq failed to comply with the ceasefire conditions ?

Iraq was bombed, sanctioned for more than a decade, and many civilians, especially children, suffered from shortages of medicine, food and basic supplies. Then Iraq was invaded in 2003 on claims about chemical and biological weapons that were not found. Calling that simply a continuation of the 1990 war skips over a lot of what actually happened.

You could perform exactly the same trick with Christian majority countries. Two world wars, European colonial wars, the Holocaust, Yugoslavia, Northern Ireland, Russia versus Ukraine, and decades of coups, dictatorships and dirty wars across South America.

That would tell us a lot about humans, nationalism, empire and power, but very little about Christianity itself being a death cult.

And several African conflicts have also involved countries and populations that are heavily Christian, which makes the same point.

True that certain countries leaders were the ones responsible for genocides and stealing other's lands, like England, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, and the Romans, along with a couple of others, and they were defeated and learned to live peacefully eventually.

That many choose America to hate or blame means they forgot what their own countries have done. Maybe it's time to understand they've all been wrong, and to forget the prejudice and see how all countries can benefit from each other without stealing or conning for profits. It's not about the people but certain ones who followed their leaders, either by choice, fear or coercion.

Palestinians killed nearly everyone at an Israeli dance festival .

Some individual IDF were sending defiant message to the Palestinians .

But, that was three years go, IDF are no longer allowed to post on social media
