Question about reentry permit.

My visa is non immigrant 'o' M

I have 1 year extention of stay retirement until july 2018.

I now have to go to my home country and I am not sure wicht date I arrive back

so do I need single or multi re-entry permit?

Or in other words is single re-entry permit tied to certain day of arrival?

Neither a single or multiple re-entry permit have a date of arrival on theml.

They are valid for entry up to the date your extension of stay ends. That will be shown on the re-entry permit as the date it expires.

if you will be returning to Thailand before the expiry date of your extension, than a single entry re-entry permit will be required to keep the permission to stay alive,.

if returning after the expiry date of the extension then a fresh non immigrant visa will be required and a fresh yearly extension obtained in the last 30 days of the 90 day permission to stay stamp given against this visa entry.

You only need a single entry for a one off trip. A multi entry is only worth getting if you are planning 4 or more trips before your extension of stay expires, or you want to save passport space.

No. You can re-enter on any day before the permit expires, which should will be the same date as your extension of stay expires.
