Min. age of TH national to buy/register condo?

Featured Replies

Any reliable info how old a kid must be to register a condo, TH national.  Thank you.  MS>

I doubt that the Pattaya forum is the best place for this?

As far as i know any

As long as it's paid fully in cash (no mortgage )

There shall also be the need to have a Guardian until the child reaches 20

no minimum age. However, once registered under a minor's name, can't be mortgaged or used as a guarantee for a loan. Can't be sold without the court's permission which will only be given if there is proof that the funds from the sale go to something for the minor's benefit

don't they need a THAI guardian for this ? hence... your wife could still sell it

Re read post above

Not sure whether the Guardian needs to be Thai, but I bet the land office will go straight for the Thai parent

First, I was not aware that an animal should own property. (A kid is a baby goat)

second, wouldn’t it be more prudent to seek the binding advice of an attorney instead of some stranger in a chat forum?

Thank you all. Case resolved and closed. Children can own property, with restrictions. Regards.  MS>
