Video: What to expect if you touch up Thai women at Songkran!

Thai Rath reported on a post that dragged up an old video from Pattaya in which a foreign man is mercilessly kicked by three Thai women.

 

The new post on the page of "Clip Ban Ta Thai" came with the words of warning:

 

"If you like to take advantage by touching up Thai women at Songkran - watch this!"

 

The footage shows a man believed to be in Walking Street, South Pattaya, grab a woman from behind.

 

She swings round and hits him. He ends up on the street as two other women join in with kicks to the head and body.

 

He cries out in pain as many people look on.

 

Thai Rath said that the post was a Songkran warning - and that the footage was about seven years old from the notorious red light street of Pattaya.

I would think in real life it goes different,normal Thai girls being fondled by (normal) drunk Thai guys during Songkran.

 

He deserves a kicking for his dress sense alone  . . . .  

 

A video such as this has little value.    It is all out of context.

 

We see an attack on a non Thai person by women who appear to be Thai.  It is taken in a bar area.   What else?

 

Can anyone add to what  happened?     Maybe the "victim" is a TVF member and can add his side of the story?

In their defense, most families have their kids tucked into bed long before the wee hours when most of these stories seem to take place.  And the same kind of crap happens in the wee hours of Miami when the drunks get turned out.

 

That's a common thread of so many of these cautionary tales- they usually happen in the wee hours and involve drinking to excess.  Fortunately, many years ago, I came to enjoy wandering around in the hours between "dawn" and "too fricking hot", so I miss most of these events.  The tourist world is a very different place when the majority of revelers are still in bed or nursing their hangovers.   Downright pleasant.

Rule 1. - To demonstrate bad behaviour always include a farang in the video.

Rule 2. - When lecturing the masses on how to behave always include a farang.

Rule 3. - If you don't have a video that's appropriate then just post any old farang video.

Rule 4. - Dress like a fool.

 

Afterwards, sit back, relax and enjoy the adulation whilst you await your promotion.

If he is a TVF member he is lucky he still has a member.

 If the article comes out in Thai in the Thai media, seems it is directed at Thais. But using a video which shows a farang getting kicked by Thai women, I would think many would assume the warning isn't really directed at them. Rather the message seems to be its open season on tourists in the bars, if they touch you, green light to kick the crap out of them. Who knows, not altogether uncommon way of communicating in Thailand to leave things very widely open to interpretation.

Everyone should know that you never feel up a thai woman in public....there are discos where you do that...

but only if you are 100% sure that it is welcomed. For me it's usually order them a tequila or three

and then the bottom grinding begins...simples

Maybe no armour but if I was stupid enough to wander the sois of Pattaya at 3am I would at least carry a water pistol with me.

Anyone who hates Pattaya is certainly welcome to avoid it for as long as he lives.

He doesn't need to announce his feelings to the rest of the world.   Just stay away!!
