Which airlines flying internationally from BKK allow mobile check-in and mobile boarding pass?

Some airlines can be extremely pedantic regarding rules, ThaiSmile for example won't let check in online for international flights, nor will they allow you use their transit desk to acquire a boarding pass unless you arrived with them even if you have no checked-in luggage, means a loop stamp in and out through immigration and security again in the transit scenario.

Almost impossible I'd reckon for an International flight as they

(for example Thai) require you to show your passport to the check-in counter anyway so still have to waste time. Sometimes  BKK transit desk is unstaffed or don't have boarding pass printers ! If you pay by credit card online or phone they require you to show that card at checkin. I don't even know if BKK security accepts mobile boarding pass for international it depends on airport. Tokyo OK, Taipei NO, Singapore OK. Hong Kong OK, except recently if you are going to your own country as it happens to be the US you get the `ol Hong Kong "cannot" as you have to be questioned at the ticket counter. "New Rule"

In Thailand, using the mobile boarding pass in domestic seem take more time that the paper boarding pass as the check-in agent at the gate look at you phone and then has to write manually something on a form instead of just scanning ....and the staff cannot count manually the little paper stubs that they keep., as in Thailand you need always a paper trail.

There must 100's of airlines flying out BKK and DMK. You might want narrow it down a bit to where you want to fly. Do you really need to know if Air Madagascar allows mobile check-in? Druk Air? Air Koryo?

There is no answer to your question as you asked it. Because you haven't said where you are flying to or which passport you have both of these may require that you go to a Check-in desk.

Also as you seem to be doing a fly through there could be an international airport that will permit you to clear immigration at a nearby airport so avoiding Bangkok queues.

For example I can (using DMK and Airasia) Check-in international in Khon Kaen ( usually only 1 or 2 people using immigration ) and bypass the sometimes horrendous immigration queues in Bangkok. On my usual route I can Check-in online but have to be screened for the correct visa for my destination before I get boarding passes.

my guess is that if you want to use different airlines the answer is none.

also you seem to have been able to clear immigration outside Bangkok which is unusual if you don't have a boarding pass for an international destination.

Malaysia Airlines

That's because it's a "Oneway Ticket" so they don't give a "Deleted" :biggrin::smile:
