Be careful with whom you want to get married in Thailand

  Dear Mods, sorry for posting that in Isaan forum, please feel free to move it.

 

          In the last two months, I've seen so many threads where posters want to ask members what they think of a relationship with a Thai girl/woman, where the relationship has turned sour and the OP wants to hear what others think, what the OP should, or should not do.

And some people are obviously posting what they've heard from others, which doesn't mean much and isn't helping the OP at all.  

 

The usual Pattaya/ Bangkok posters talk bad about all women in Isaan and make them all to <deleted> with the intention to suck a foreigner dry. When the American guy burnt down the house, car and truck and hanged himself, nobody was even thinking about an eventually broken guy with psychological and financial problems, who wanted to have another girl living in the same house with his wife. How dumb was that to burn his daughter's house, the car and the bike down? Didn't they use them to get the girl to school? Sorry, I just don't get it. 

 

  The American ladies who never got caught with fake dollars then relied on GoFundMe and now the relatives do not seem to have to pay anything if somebody's driving recklessness, they leave it up to some good heated people to pay the bills.  

 

There were quite a lot threads about non functioning relationships and more and more other posters jumped in to talk about their relationships. Many of them had lost everything they had when they came to Thailand and many sold all they had back home to live with their Thai wife.

 

  The one guy was so close to commit suicide that some people were trying to calm him down and to find a solution for his situation. 

 

 I think reading "My Private Dancer" would at least help some newbies, it can't go on that such naive people come to LOS, fall in love with the first bar girl and get married after only weeks, sometimes months. seldom years. 

I also don't understand people who've had two very bad marriages with a Thai, but they come back and look for another Tirac. There's a village near Khun Haan where one girl took off to find a foreigner in Pattaya, and when she came back with gold and car and cash, all the others followed. In the end there were so many foreigners living in a smaller place, but the wives didn't always seem to like each other.

 

In the Kantharalak area are not only Thais who love to rip off some foreigners, nope. There are also some foreigners with gambling wives who do all to milk her husband and they usually don't even know about it before it's too late.

 

 Let's face it, living with mom and dad in law in the same village isn't wise, but why are so many foreigners doing that and build a house in the deepest Isaan even when they could afford to buy a house near a beach????

 

  Getting to know  a bar girl in Pattaya is one of the easiest things, and of course will these whores do all to make the guy who throws around with money happy. Then the obligatory marriage where too many people pay way too much because the family tells them lies only. 

 

A lot of foreigners just don't know that their wives often don't understand them, Thai women don't want to lose face, so they'd not say: "Can you repeat this please?" My wife's doing the same and it was our son who pointed that out. In my city and the villages are quite a lot untrustworthy Thai women who've got a relationship with usually much older Farangs. They gamble, they give money to heir husbands, usually the brother and they use thew Farang's money to pay for all bills, even when the Thai family has got cash. It's of course much more convenient to spend other peoples' money. And quite a few smoke or sell Yaba without the Farang knowing it, but he will when the cops turn up. 

 

     And many foreigners have no clue what their beloved wife did before he met her. I know a few women who've got three, four, one of them has five houses built by different foreigners. But the husband knows nothing that he's actually number three, four, or five. 

 

I've attached a book that's in my opinion a must read for all who want to live here and looking for a girl to get married. Many parts were changed, but it's still the same old, same old rip off as always, which made the book to what it is. A handbook for those who want to retire in Thailand and meet a girl, get married and live a happy life. 

 

Even when you've read this book a long time ago, it can't be a mistake to read it once more. Enjoy this country to the fullest, but don't lose your brain in a girl's vagina.

My friend had a mail order company selling cheap shit, and the most weird thing was those who bought shit once, would  come back to order more shit, even they knew it was shit first time, and most likely would be shit they got in the mail next time as well. 60% was returning customers buying shit! 

 

What is the moral of the story?

The moral of the story? Some people just forget that they bought shit and do the shit over and over again, even when the shit smells very bad.

I do not think you can warn anyone agianst what is coming for the newbies. Just let them roll the dice and go all in and hopefully learn first time, or at least second time. Nobody likes to be told what to to or not to do. If you do not have the survivel scills, you have to gain them quick. No friend or stranger can save you from sweet smiles, sex drugs and rock roll if you do not have it in you from before. 

 

Beer and viagra is cheap, and you just live this life, and so many souls to save. Halleluja

Why are you accusing me of this? I'm, not sitting on a high horse and my thread was more an eye opener for those who fall in love at first sight.

Where did I say that it's wrong to buy gold and mopeds, please? The particular "lady" isn't even a stunner, but smart enough to tell her new farangs what they want to hear and she knows exactly what they like in bed. Sometimes a farang's only there for a holiday, but she knows how to milk them.

I have lived among them long enough on the sideline and no romanse involved, and know whats going on. But when shit hits the fan, it is easy to get involved with even the most badass girl you know you never should have looked in the eye more than once. They are good at what they are doing, and so inocent.
