I was very impressed when I researched the station.

In my view, the design was very well done.

I would not be surprised if it lasts 200 years.

This explains it, then.

I had volunteered to lead a ride along (more or less) our railway from end to end (as mentioned before, not least by girls in Sukhumvit, it is pitifully small, so it will scarcely be an Odyssey); anyway, I got a call suggesting we postpone the ride for 30 minutes due to rain - I'd have berated him for being soft, and not the sort of Dutchman that I am used to dealing with, but since I was somewhat hung over, I accepted the opportunity of a bit more rest before the exertion.

The heavy rain was finished by the time that we set off, though it still picked up from time to time on the earlier parts of the ride. Some en route suggestions helped us keep to the two principle rules of navigation - No Repeating and No Retreating. There was some commentary that the stations are big sites, and some complaint that the bridge works are blocking the bike paths; we came back along the river trails below the bridges, and stopped at the first pub that we came to.
