I will repeat, nothing justifies dropping the aircraft short on the runway like they did. Not even a 2 engine flame out. Whenever there is no other options left, ditching is the procedure. They would have followed the shoreline until they bled off sufficient speed and then ditch the aircraft. Ditching is a proper procedure in an emergency when there is no other realistic option: Procedures The flight crew must follow key steps, including: Broadcasting a Mayday call to alert air traffic control and rescue services Instructing passengers to put on life jackets and secure seatbelts Providing clear instructions on brace positions and emergency procedures Factors for a successful ditching The most important factors are the sea, ocean conditions, and wind, as well as the type of aircraft and the skill of the pilots. Survival tips If possible, ditch near a benign shoreline and seek out shipping if any are within range. Strap in tightly, protect your head and legs, and use soft items to restrain excessive movement. -

As you get older you become a higher risk . If you have a serious health issue down the road they know it could cost them a lot. As you get older they see the chance of making a profit from you diminish and the chance of making a loss from you increase. The big increase has two functions. One , to help offset the cost of any future expensive treatment . 2 ) To ' burn you off ' as a customer before the higher risk becomes more inevitable. Insurance companies are not benign altruistic friends. Their prime concern is their profit not your health. Just the way it is. -

Thai ladies with hairy legs is a real turn off.
Anyone had any experience with Thai ladies who have hairy legs. Since residing here for 11 yrs, Ive had more than a few instances of seeing Thai girls with hairy legs and it grosses me out. I did a 5 yr teaching contract at a thai govt university and noticed a few girls who didn't shave. I don't know if they were just clueless or making a statement about their sexuality eg they are a ladyboy? The photo below is one I saw at a bar. She (or he) allowed me to take a photo of her long legs as long as I didn't show her face. I said to her after 'If there's grass on the wicket, then we can play cricket'. She didnt understand. She looked quite attractive in the face and upper body actually. But I think she (or he) might have been trans gender? Anyone ever had any experiences with this? Do you find it appealing or a compete turnoff? Happy new yr to you all. -
