So my question is on the 26th I have to do my second visa extension at the Chiang Mai promada immigration office. I know I can do it online now that I'm registered in the system after for the first time. My question is how long do I have to wait before I can login to the website and do my visa extension? Is it 30 days, 15 days or 7 days? Thank you and help would be appreciated.

You cannot apply for an extension of stay (visas are not extended) online. It can only be done in person.

Only reports of staying longer than 90 days in the country can be done online. You have to do the report online during a window of 15 to 7 days before the report date.

Okay well you know that's what I meant was the 90-day thing

It is almost the same window in person. In person it is 15 days before or up to 7 days after the report date including that day in the count.

The 30 days is for applying for an extension of stay.

You mix things up completely. IF you apply for an extension of stay do it in person maximum 30 days ahead of time. IF you are doing the 90 dayreport than it is like Joe are saying 15 days before and 7 days after.

Plse try to keep things clear.

Joe didn't say that.

Who's not being clear now!

Applicants can submit this online application within 15 days but not less than 7 days before the due date of notification.

The window of up to 15 days before and up to 7 days after is only if reporting in person, not online.

Because doing an extension of stay is different from doing "the 90 day thing."

Seriously, you need to set aside a little time to come to grips with a few basic issues related to your stay in Thailand.

Differentiating between these three would be a good place to start.

a) Visa

B) Permission to stay (and extension of permission to stay)

c) 90 day report  (aka "the 90 day thing")

it amazes me that some people live in Thailand without their mothers.

they can handle it!! they just hang on to their Thai GF/Wives apron strings.

I answer myself (found in the similar thread):

"With money in bank option.
1. Letters from your bank same day or day before stating bank records, and a transaction list for the past two months.
2. Bank account must be in Husbands name, joint accounts will not qualify.
3. Letter from bank must show transaction during previous two months."

So, list of transactions are expexted.

1/3 The standard letter from the bank only confirms your account and the balance in account on the date it issued. Copies of your updated bank book prove that it has been in the bank for 2 months. Some offices also require a bank statement done by the bank to show the 2 months.

2. Correct

I submitted documents today to local immigration, and additionaly certficate with transactions history was requested. Bangkok bank issued it for me.

One more surprice: Kor Ror 2 has to be issued with date of documents submittion. Also, additionally were filled few acknowledgements forms. One witness requiered, which filled two forms.

So, you must visit an amphoe for a fresh-copy on the same day you go to immigration?  Perhaps  misunderstand "issued with date of documents".

Was this a witness for a first-time extension for this marriage, or for a subsequent year?

Yes, my first visit was with Kor Ror 2, issued two days ago.

First-time extension. Also police raided my house on the next day after document submission. I and my wife were interviewed, police made few photos.

That is a ridiculous requirement. They would of had to think you could of gotten divorced in those 2 days to want it that recent.

Which office was that.

Chachoengsao

I have read reports of them having some strange requirements but that one is way over the top.

It's not a raid, but a friendly visit just to check up and make sure you are living there. This is not uncommon.
